dbeads Berlin

I now have a collection in the gallery of the very talented glass bead maker Dagmar Brückner.

Dagmar learned the art of glass bead making in New York before setting up her Gallery in Berlin where she also offers professional training in the craft of glass bead making.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dagmar after she had seen my pieces at the Tate St Ives and we soon realised we had a kindred love of colour and pattern….. and of course glass!

Visit her shop to see all her amazing hand blown beads at dbeads.com or if you're in Berlin meet the lovely lady in person! I Really love the Kettle Bubble gum necklace!

Some new bracelets referencing Mondrian. What do you think?

Cornish Beach Chalet

Whilst we are on the subject of spring l thought this would be a good time to tell you about The cornish beach chalet,  because if you are thinking of spending some time in beautiful Cornwall this year, or if you've never been before, you really must check this gorgeous beach chalet out.

Two minutes' walk to the beach, the chalet has been lovingly restored and decorated by Sarah White the owner, and is up the road from St Ives with all its galleries and restaurants,  so if you feel like you need to leave the city, breath some of the most unpolluted air in England and eat some great cornish seafood then have a look at this lovely laid-back chalet, who needs the Med!

New work for spring

I have just finished making some new bracelets and cuffs for the coming spring. Lots of gorgeous neon yellow, sagey greens, reds and white. Hope you like the new colours and pattern combinations.
